Real estate isn't about growing fast; it's about growing safely.
I've been grappling with this internal struggle since beginning my Costa Rica journey.
In Utah, I searched for real estate opportunities from 2018 to 2021. During that time, the market was red-hot and extremely competitive. To secure a good deal, one had to be prepared to fight tooth and nail and seize any opportunity.
However, Costa Rica's landscape is vastly different. There's an abundance of land to choose from, and in most areas, it's undoubtedly a buyers' market.
It's shifted from 'Can I find a deal that makes financial sense?' to 'Everything seems feasible, but which option is the best fit?'
This transition has been intriguing because I'm tempted to pounce on every opportunity, but I've had to deliberately slow down. I recognize that successful real estate development primarily hinges on execution, and I must ensure I don't overextend myself.
Hence, I've made the decision to terminate my contracts on properties near San Jose. While there were existing issues with these properties, as previously highlighted in my emails, I'm also wary of stretching myself too thin, especially in a new country.

As a group, we've concluded that circling the wagons and concentrating on executing our project in Playa Negra is the most prudent course of action.
We're currently receiving and evaluating bids for the project's infrastructure. We understand that this decision is important. We need to select the right professionals for the job.
