Going All In
The journey towards Costa Rica has been a roller coaster ride, yet I've felt guided every step of the way.

Normally, I keep business and faith separate in conversations, but this process has necessitated what I'd term 'divine intervention.'
Summing up the whirlwind of the past two years is challenging, but from my perspective, it's been nothing short of miraculous.
In 2022, as we wrapped up our townhome project, uncertainty loomed over what our next steps should be. While we were confident about avoiding a new real estate development project, we were eager to get back to work. During a meeting, the idea of constructing homes in Costa Rica resonated deeply with many thoughts I had been stewing on.
The subsequent 18 months were dedicated to absorbing all possible knowledge about real estate development in Costa Rica.
We initially committed to building just one home, which then expanded to securing multiple lots under contract.
These lots prompted several trips, ultimately leading us to decide to begin with raw land, similar to our previous ventures in Utah. The most significant value in residential real estate development in Costa Rica lies in converting raw land into finished lots.
With each visit to Costa Rica, our apprehensions transformed into confidence.
Now, our confidence levels are high enough that we've made the decision to temporarily relocate the team during the due diligence period for multiple properties.

Currently, we're negotiating five condo leases and will be purchasing multiple vehicles in the coming weeks.
The funding for this stems from selling two properties in the last six months. This week, we're finalizing the sale of a property that will inject a combined $10 million into our group.
Our due diligence will revolve around two primary categories:
#1 Technical Due Diligence:
Water availability
Topography limitations
Zoning restrictions
Fiber availability
And more
#2 Market Feasibility:
Current foreign demand
Current local demand
Traffic patterns
Customer income level
And more
Our objective is to maintain an open mind and remain flexible based on new information we gather.
Should we proceed with these contracts, we may embark on projects that could require a decade of work to complete.
While I believe my decisions are grounded in reason and aimed at securing work and returns for my team and investors, it's obvious to me that God has guided this journey to Costa Rica.
Hopefully, we'll accomplish all that and more.
